Shampooing your hair daily isn’t bad, but in a lot of cases it’s not necessary. When you shampoo more often than needed, you start stripping your hair of its natural oils that condition, nourish and protect your locks.
Someone with fine hair and an oily scalp might need to shampoo daily, while someone with thick, coarse hair might only need to shampoo every two or three days.
On days when you don’t want to suds up, refresh your mane by rinsing it and using conditioner. Or, try a dry shampoo spray that’s meant to absorb excess oils like Klorane Extra Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Extract.
